Michael Logan Potter, Sr.'s Obituary
Michael Logan Potter, Sr., age 63, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Covington, LA. Michael was born in Coral Gables, FL and raised in New Orleans, LA. He owned and operated St. Tammany Marine from 1992 until 2015, after moving to the Covington area in 1991.
The beloved husband of Louise Migliore Potter, he is survived by five children - Michael Potter, Jr. (Christina), Kerry Lawrence, Travis Combel (Erin), Rachel Delery Benedict (Kenneth) and Edward Combel, Jr. (Debbie); seven grandchildren - Logan and Amelia Potter, Kenneth, Jr. and Hunter Benedict, Christina, Kimberly and Eddie Combel and one great grandson - Bryson Conrad. He was preceded in death by his mother - Theresa Ducote Elliott; one sister - Patricia Potter; and his brother - Gene Travasos.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Thursday will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington will immediately follow services.
