Michael grew up in Mandeville, LA and spent his formative years going to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School, Tchefuncte Middle School and eventually onto St. Paul’s High School where he spread his amazing personality with everyone around him which they naturally gravitated towards. He then went to Southeastern Louisiana University and from there began his adult life helping run his family restaurant, Sweet Daddy’s BBQ and eventually started his own successful career in Insurance. Michael led an extraordinary life traveling all over the country and the world. Whether Michael was 1000 miles away or in his hometown of Covington, Louisiana he always brought an upbeat and positive attitude to everyone around him whether it was a complete stranger or a lifelong friend. He was such a unique person in the way he could talk to anyone and share the love and happiness he carried with him everyday to others.
Michael also had a passion and love for music. While he never played any particular instruments he was well versed in all genres of music and used it to bring people together and share his passion for it. Michael made countless friends and created life-long relationships with the many people he interacted with throughout his life no matter where he went whether it was school, work or going out to local venues or music festivals. There was never a dull moment when Michael was around and he has left lasting memories etched into the hearts of everyone that had the pleasure of being around him. May he rest in peace and may his family and friends share the same love Michael brought into this world with each other during this difficult time.
