I wanted to write to you after seeing Merle's picture and reading her obituary today. Merle and Ham were part of my life at Aurora United Methodist Church where I served as Lay Leader for many years. There was nothing Merle couldn't do, though I think she may have turned down a few requests!, and she always had a smile to share along with a ready laugh. I enjoyed sharing years with her on the Westbank and wanted to offer a brief remembrance of her to you. She was a wonderful, talented person and a joy to be around.
