Melner August Will's Obituary
Melner August Will passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007.
Beloved husband of Grace Picone Will; step-father to Diane Henry and her husband Charles and Harold Sill and his fiancé Rhonda Hatchett; step-grandfather to Christie Brewton and Chuck Henry; brother of Marie W. Starrett and Josephine W. Weller; and uncle to Virginia Abadie. He was also survived by 4 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Illg Will and his father Herbert L. Will.
Age 79 years, a native of Metairie, LA he had been a resident of Abita Springs, LA for the past 19 years. He was a United States Army veteran having served during World War II and he was retired from American Can Company, where he worked for 42 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Friday from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow services in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
