My Aunt May was a strong loving women. She was all about family and friends. She always showed me to care about myself and love others even when they upset you. Over christmas last year I got to take my girls to see her for their first time and they loved the whole time spent with aunt May. She and my cousins spoiled my kids with love. When it was time to pack up to leave back to Texas. I got to go on one last adventure with my Aunt May. She took me to the casino to gamble for the first time. This was on my bucket list to go gambling with her and I got to cross it off. She made my experience one to never forget. I remeber the last night in Louisiana so well. My kids were begging to stay longer and to come back to aunty Mays. I wish they had gotten to spend more time with her but I know this the little time they did left a standing expression in all our hearts. We love you so much aunt May. You live a tough fight but you never showed pain and you never gave up. Rip.
We met May and Ray when we were in Germany. We cooked them dinner the first night. We were together every day until we got our orders for Ft Knox. They got stationed at Ft Knox also. May is like a sister to me. I loved her and will miss her every day until the end of my life. We are super close. Save me a place May until we meet again.
May was my best friend for as long as I can remember. Our mothers were friends and would talk (it seemed) for hours. May and I would spend time together at her house listening to records and she would bake a cake I never heard of before - a sheet cake! It was so good. When we were first married, our first were boys and we named them Joseph - and we were many miles apart. What a coincidence. Then we each had a Christina too. We each married a second time to the love of our lives. We had so many things in common. May you rest in peace, May. I love you.
May and I went to high school together in Fairbanks Alaska, and I moved back home to Tennessee and I didn’t see her forever , then I looked up high school class mates on Facebook and found May in Louisiana and we hooked up and had the best reunion and best night ever. I will truly miss her and know she is finally home with our father Jesus Christ and I will see her again one day love love
May and I were united several years ago when her daughter and my son were married. Our friendship remained steadfast over the years since and was strengthen with the birth of our grandson. Even though her sickness and ailments worsen with time, she was a strong Matriarch until the Lord called her home. I’m praying the family finds peace and comfort in knowing that her life was well spent, caring & sharing for others. A job well done. We will certainly miss her.
I will always be great full for excepting us in your family and will always cherish the memories and will never forget what a wonderful woman and Mom she was. We are sad we will not be there but we will in spirit. We will always love you and will see you again in heaven one day.
