Matthew Scott Brown's Obituary
Matthew Scott Brown, Esq., 26 years old, of New Orleans died Friday, May 15, 2009.
A promising new attorney, Matt graduated from Fountainbleau High School in Mandeville, attended undergraduate school at LSU in Baton Rouge graduating Magna Cum Laude. Matt entered the international studies program his junior year at LSU and received a full scholarship to attend the University of Bonn in Bonn, Germany with a full course load taught in the native German language. Matt attended George Washington University in Washington DC, was contributing editor and editor in chief while pursuing his law degree and interning in the DC area. Matt received his Juris Doctorate from George Washington University and passed the Maryland Bar. Matt made the decision to return to Louisiana where he was born and raised to practice law in this state, recently passing the Louisiana Bar.
Matt will be profoundly and forever missed by loved ones.
Immediate surviving family members include his mother Ann Z Brown of Charleston, SC, his brother, Nicholas R. Brown of Dallas, TX and his father Lawrence G. Brown of Brisbane, Australia, extended family members, and many wonderful, caring friends.
Friends are invited to join in a gathering in his memory on Thursday, May 21, 2009 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Koepp Home, 915 West 13th Ave., Covington, LA.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA.
