Mary Elizabeth Toups' Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Martino Toups passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009. She was born March 27, 1916 in New Orleans to the late Joseph and Margaret Strowe Martino and has been a resident of Covington since 2005.
The beloved wife of the late Ellis Joseph Toups, Jr., she is survived by three sons: Ellis J., III, Raymond G. and Ludger G. Toups; one daughter, Maryanne Toups; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Lynn Toups Ginesi; four brothers: David, Joseph, Raymond and Ludger Martino and two sisters, Margie and Anna Martino.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 10:30 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin at 9:30 AM with the Rosary beginning at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens in Chalmette.
