Aunt Mary had a great sense of humor. I pray that you all are well.
Dear Mary and Family, I just learned of the loss of your mother. I had the pleasure of meeting her soon after Mark and I got married in 1979. My immediate impression was of a kind, gentle, caring person. We rented her house on 10th Avenue for a couple of years...and every conversation with Mrs. Terrebone was always supportive and positive. I'm certain she positively impacted many students throughout her teaching career. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May the good memories sustain you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Mark and Karen
Sorry for your loss - Prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
She was one of Mandeville High's best Math Teachers.
God blessed me through this teacher.
Prayers to you, Joy Hobart and Nancy Huhn
I remember Ms. Mary, when I was a Freshman at S.L.U. in the late '60's. She tutored myself and her nephew Stephen Wirtz in Math as we were struggling. She was very wonderful and a big help. R.I.P. Ms. Mary.
To the family of Ms. Terrebone, I had her for my advanced math classes some 27+ years ago. She was by far the most inspirational and motivational math teacher I ever had in my secondary, undergrad and graduate courses. Her abilities lay far beyond that of teaching math, but more about teaching life. She was a wonderful person and educator, and I am glad I knew her for the short time that I did. My condolences go out to your family in this time. RIP Ms. Terrebone.
Mrs. Terrebone was my teacher at MHS in the early eighties. I was so sorry to hear that she passed, and I send out sympathy to her family during this time of sadness. She was a good teacher with a spark of humor that would break up the monotony of studies. She will surely be missed by the generations of students she influenced.
Mrs. Terrebone taught my children at Mandeville High School in the late 80's. We have remembered her with fondness throughout the years. May God bless you during this time of sorrow. The Sprehe Family
