Mary Sharp's Obituary
Mary Sharp passed away on December 4, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born on November 14, 1943 in Collins, MS to William Townsend and Velma Carter Townsend. She resided in Bush, LA with her family.
Mary leaves behind three children, Kimberly Crockett (James), Robert Crockett (Tonia), and Chrisinda Sharp (Jason); grandchildren, Steven and Kayleigh, Luke, Mikie, Robbie, Randy, Jessica, and Erick; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jamie, Page, Hope, Brennan, Haylee and River; great great grandchildren, Roman, Beverly, and Joseph; and many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Mary is now rejoined with loved ones, her husband of 44 years, Steve Sharp; her parents, Wessie and Velma Townsend; sisters, Edith Quave and Edna Sharp; brother, Johnny Townsend; children, Beverly Baham, Michael Crockett, and Johnny Crockett; and great granddaughter, Kaylee Sharp.
She will be missed by many and is loved by more. Till we meet again, we love you Mom/Grandma/ Nana.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Barker McManus Cemetery, 79407 Lee Road, Covington LA 70433.
