Mary Dale Harris Roberts' Obituary
Mary Dale Harris Roberts, age 88 of Covington, LA passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. She was born February 2, 1933, in Hickory, MS to Andrew J. “Jack” and Mary Gertrude Glenn Harris.
Mrs. Roberts was a native of Hickory, MS and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 65 years.
She is survived by her sister, Jackie Combs of Meridian, MS; sons Michael B. Roberts of Baton Rouge, LA, William Stuart Roberts of Baton Rouge, LA (granddaughter Lauren Roberts Leumas) and Mark Andrew Roberts of Mandeville, LA (grandchildren Whitney Roberts Burkhalter, Jackson Roberts, Lindsey Cooper, Jessica Danos, Sophie Farrell and, also seven great grandchildren).
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Monroe Roberts, brother A. G. Harris and sisters Mae Carol Smith, Betty Jo Hicks and Darlene Weir.
Prior to her retirement in 1997, Mrs. Roberts was the longtime owner of Roberts Beauty College located in downtown Covington.
Mary had a very kind heart and loved her family, her friends and her students with all of it. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
