Louise was one of the funnest and funniest people I ever knew. I will never forget the time in the mid-1960s that she called my family's house to report that there was a monkey in a tree in her backyard, and she wanted help catching him. My mother and I went over to check out the situation, and sure enough, there really was a monkey in the backyard. The monkey took off toward Bertel Drive, and we never saw him again. It turned out the monkey had escaped from the Delta Regional Primate Center. The three of us laughed about that escapade for years.
My condolences to the entire Bratton family. I know that Louise's love and laughter will live on in your hearts and that memories of her will bring smiles to the faces of her many friends. Marianne Roberts
