Mary Louise Garrity Kraft's Obituary
Mary Louise Garrity Kraft, age 62, of Mandeville, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. She was born on March 22, 1962, in Gulfport, Mississippi.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Keith J. Kraft; daughter, Victoria A. Kraft; siblings, Sandra Alost and her husband Tom and Billy Garrity and his wife Beverly; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Garrity; mother, Dolores Jaquillard; and a brother, Patrick Garrity.
Mary was a graduate of Grace King High School and briefly attended Louisiana State University before earning her cosmetology license. Her benevolence and passion for helping others blossomed into a 44-year career as a hair stylist and salon owner. She proudly volunteered for the American Cancer Society’s “Look Good, Feel Better” Program, providing hands-on makeup, skincare, and wigs/head covering techniques to cancer patients. Her love and generosity will be greatly missed.
