My sympathies on the passing of Bernice. I met Bernice when I worked at the Tulane Primate Center from 2004-2007. Bernice was an accomplished scientist, world traveler, and a fun person. I will always warmly remember the conversations we had that extended beyond her retirement. I will always fondly remember Bernice and her no-nonsense demeanor.
