Mary Jo Boizelle Folse Doran's Obituary
Mary Jo Boizelle Folse Doran passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2026 in Covington, LA. She was 84. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ronald Joseph Folse, 2nd husband, Robert Edward Doran, Jr., and her parents, George Boizelle and Merceda McMahon Boizelle and her son-in-law, Clanton Goldman. Mary Jo is survived by her daughters, Laura Boizelle Folse (Paul) and Kristen Merceda Folse and her grandchildren, Aline Vivien Ponthieux Krobert (Paul) and Tucker Merceda Goldman Schellhaus (Brad).
She was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Mandeville, LA. She retired as an Educator after 30 plus years teaching at St Frances Cabrini Elementary School and Mary Dora Coghill Accelerated Elementary School in New Orleans, LA.
