Mary D. Edmundson's Obituary
Mary D. Edmundson passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. She was born in Madisonville, LA on January 13, 1930.
She is survived by her loving children, Matt Edmundson (Carol) and Ben Edmundson (Frankie); her grandchildren, Ethan Edmundson (Tayler), Bryant “Bubba” Edmundson (Meghan) and Ashley Annette Edmundson (Fiance’, Jeffery); and one great-grandchild, Leon Edmundson. She is also survived by her sister, Annette Badeaux and nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Buford D. Edmundson; her parents Gertrude Thompson Daniels and Floyd Daniels; and siblings, Claude Daniels and Anna Lee Arnold.
Mrs. Edmundson was a school teacher for the St. Tammany Parish School System for 35 years. She was a charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church where she loved the Lord.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Edmundson may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church, 16330 LA 1085, Covington, LA 70433.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Theodore Dendinger Cemetery in Madisonville on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation at the gravesite on Tuesday beginning at 10:30 AM.
