Mary Elizabeth Brown's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Brown passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the age of 89. She was born in New Orleans, LA on January 7, 1934 to the late Clarence Anthony Brown and Lena Angelica Seckfort Brown.
Mary is survived by her brother, C. Ronald Brown; her sister, Gayle Brown Navaille and several nephews and nieces.
A native of New Orleans, LA and proud resident of Covington, LA for 31 years, Mary graduated from Redemptorist Girls High School. After graduation she began her professional career at Bell South, retiring after 30 years. Mary loved traveling in the United States, Europe and Asia. She was devout Catholic and spent her leisure time reading, sewing, knitting and gardening.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM and then the Funeral Mass beginning in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place following mass at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
