Mary Chatellier Brewster's Obituary
Mary Chatellier Brewster passed away on June 4th, 2026, at the age of 90. Wife of the late John Norris Brewster, Sr. She is survived by her beloved sons: John (Karen), Mark (Brenda), Drew (Jessica) and Bryan (Kelly); sisters Bernice Mayeaux, and Sandy Granger; grandmother of Jessica Wilson (Wesley), Jordan Brewster (Sarah), Rhett, Dalton and Lilly Brewster; great grandmother of Haley Higgins, Jett, Marcelle and Park Wilson, Charlotte, Noah, and Wyatt Brewster, and many step grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Josephine Perrin Chatellier; siblings Altha Mae Snyder, Colleen Bardwell, and Arthur Chatellier, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:00 am on June 12th, 2026 at St. Anselm Catholic Church, St Mary Street Madisonville, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Theodore Dendinger Cemetery. We warmly invite you to join the family for a reception following the interment. We will gather at the Maritime Museum from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm to celebrate the beautiful life of Mary C. Brewster.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anselm Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
