Mary Impastato Barcia's Obituary
Mary Impastato Barcia passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 26, 2017. She leaves behind her loving husband of seventy-three years, Henry Barcia, Sr.; her daughters - Carol Barcia; Connie Liepins and her husband Maris; her late son Henry Barcia, Jr.; two grandchildren - Tami Sylvia and Eriks Liepins; and two great-grandchildren - Macie Sylvia and Raymond Sylvia. She is also survived by her sister - Lucy. Joseph, Charlie, Vincent and Edna Impastato precede her in death.
Mary spent her life dedicated to her loving husband and children. She loved socializing with her friends at weekly bingo and taking trips to the casinos.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Wednesday at 12 Noon.
She will be laid to rest after a private ceremony at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA.
In lieu of flowers, masses said at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St. Mandeville, LA 70448.
