Mary Annie Crawford Jones' Obituary
Mary Annie Crawford Jones, age 89, a resident of Bush, LA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.
She was born on July 4, 1928 in Bush (Bogalusa) Louisiana. She graduated from Covington High School and retired from BellSouth in New Orleans. She was kind, generous and loved her family. She had been an active member of Hebron Baptist Church in Bush and previously Gentilly Baptist Church in New Orleans.
She is survived by daughters, Debi Adams of Baton Rouge, Barbara (Danny) Cockfield of Metairie; son, Robert W. Jones of Bush; grandsons, Daniel Cockfield and Jared Cockfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Malcolm “Bris” Jones; parents, Robert D. Crawford and Lillie Hunt Crawford; and siblings, Elta Mae Fussell, Dudley Crawford, Raymond Crawford and Richard Crawford.
Relatives, friends and members of BellSouth Pioneers are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rickie Wilson officiating and a visitation on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Isabel Cemetery.
