Mary Ann Rantz Mangipano's Obituary
Mary Ann Rantz Mangipano passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Covington, LA. She was born on Wednesday, December 17, 1947 in New Orleans, LA to Lily Gallioto and Joseph Gerald Rantz. After growing up in New Orleans, she married the love of her life and moved to St. Bernard Parish in 1971. Hurricane Katrina brought them to Covington in 2005.
For 44 years she was the loving wife of Ronald A. Mangipano and is survived by two sons - Ryan A. Mangipano (Melissa) and Rance J. Mangipano (Christie); seven grandchildren - Jaron M., Joshua R. and Justin A. Mangipano, Aiden J., Gage A., Reid A. and Averie Ann Mangipano and two step granchildren - Drake M. and Demi Clair DeAlminana. She was preceded in death by her parents and one step grandson - Drew DeAlminana.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
A wake is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6-9:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Visitation Thursday will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington will immediately follow mass.
