Mary Alice Alford Bennett's Obituary
Mary Alice Alford Bennett, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. A long time resident of Folsom and dedicated member of Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, she was born March 6, 1920 in Angie, LA to the late Dewitt Alford and the late Ina Brown Alford.
The beloved wife of the late George Bennett, she is survived by two daughters, Dot McIntyre and Ellouise Thompson; two sisters, Louise White and Lynda Breland; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lucille Booth; her son, James Bennett; one grandson, David Thompson; one great grandson, Scott Collins; one sister, Zelda Fortenberry and one brother, Bruce Alford.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 78273 Highway 1077, Folsom, LA 70437.
Visiting hours will begin at the church Thursday at 11:00 AM.
Interment at Willie Cemetery will immediately follow services.
