Martha “Pud’n” Waller passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2024 in Metairie, LA. She was 75. She was born in Leesville, LA on September 16, 1948. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Jerry Waller; her mother, Read Obituary

I’ve known Pud’n my entire life and she was such a bright light, she lit up the room! I’m so grateful to have shared many memories. I know how happy she was living her best life with Jerry. She will certainly leave a hole in many hearts.
Meeting Pud’n was such a pleasant memory I will always cherish. First thing she did was give a sincere complement to a perfect stranger with such grace and joy. She had me at Hello! Every opportunity I had to be with this lady was always joyous and uplifting. Her upbeat positivity was contagious. She made you feel special and important and want to be the best version of yourself. What a perfect example of how to engage with others Pud’n exemplified. My heart is so saddened for Jerry, her family and friends (including me) that we will miss her and the joy she shared with all of us. Rest In Peace precious lady. Brenda Gurley.

Mama Pud’n was like a mama to me …always there willing to do anything for me. I knew her and Jerry from buying a cruiser from them 10 years ago but feels like a lifetime. She already knew my sister Brenda from working with her 30 years ago then we met. But after buying my cabin cruiser from her , only had it for three weeks and got in a bad boating incident where I was injured and broke my back where another larger. Cruiser was at fault. I was immediately lifted to the Er where I was hospitalized. As soon as she got a phone call she was on the phone with an attorney and on her was to be by my sid. That’s just who she was!!!!
We became so close she was definitely as a mama to me. This breaks my heart more than anything literally sitting here, crying missing my best friend. Just found out today got I miss her already.
Such a beautiful soul. Always will make everyone happy. Jerry W. Waller you made this woman so happy every time I was with her she would talk about how much you made her happy. Gotta miss her so much. 😭
