Martha Forschler Reed's Obituary
Martha Forschler Reed born March 12, 1920, died on Sunday, December 2, 2007.
She was a native and long time resident of Mandeville although she lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana from 1955 - 1976. She and her husband, Oscar Willis Reed, returned to Mandeville after his retirement from the telephone company in 1976. She was a member of the Altar Society of Our Lady of the Lake church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, she is survived by sister Hilda Pettigrew, sons James Loubat Reed and Michael Oscar Reed, grandchildren Michael Bradley Reed, Barbara (Gena) Farmer, Elizabeth (Lisette) Sampson, and great grandchildren Jessica and George Farmer, Elise Sanchez and Nathan Sampson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the E.J. Fielding Funeral Home located at 2260 W 21st Ave., Covington, La. on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Mandeville Cemetery.
