Martha Skuce Furbish Larsen's Obituary
Martha Skuce (Furbish) Larsen, age 89 of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday November 12, 2024.
Martha was born on October 25, 1935, in Wakefield, RI. She is survived by her loving husband, Phillip, of 34 years, and her adoring daughters, Melodie Furbish Salter and Melissa Furbish, her stepdaughters Holly and Sherri, and stepson, Jacob, her grandchildren Dylan, Stephanie, Mike Jr., Emma, Vickie, Catherine, Ian, and Jane, and great grandchildren, Lily, Wyatt, Grace, and Emerson. She was preceded in death by her parents John Skuce, and Thelma Clark Skuce. Martha was very active in her church community and loved to sing, which she often did as a soloist at church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Martha’s memory may be made to the Northshore Humane Society, from where they adopted her precious dog “Bum” and donated to regularly. (20384 Harrison Ave Covington, LA 70433)
Services will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Mandeville Christian Church, 3010 LA 59, Mandeville LA 70471.
