I had met Marne a few times at Barnes and Noble conferences, just passing in the hall or at the airports. After Katrina, I went into the Mandeville store and when Marne saw me she gave me the biggest hug. It caught me by surprise and brought tears to my eyes. I always remember that moment when I think of her. Thanks Marne!!

Marne and I shared many Cancer support stories...Mine was minor and hers was not. I always admired her courage and stamina to fight this battle. Now I am happy that she is a peace.
