I got to know Mark at New Zion over the years- eating his wonderful gumbo started us off- and getting the opportunity to pick him up for church and bring him home after when he couldn't drive for a time. He spoke highly of his beloved family, and the travels he had. And he certainly loved the Lord. When all this is over, and if we go back to regular church services, his booming voice giving an "Amen!" in an otherwise quiet service will be sorely missed.
