Mark Andrew McLean's Obituary
Mark Andrew McLean, age 64, of Mandeville, LA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was born on September 5, 1956 in New Orleans, LA to Allan and Anna Mae (Rivette) McLean.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Christena (Weer) McLean; his son and daughter-in law, Scott and Michelle McLean; and two granddaughters Madison and Demi McLean. He is also survived by his brother Bret McLean and his sister Valerie Benedict (the late David); as well as nephews Devin McLean and Cameron McLean, and his niece Zoe Ru Benedict.
Mark is preceded in death by his sister Lisa McLean and his parents.
Mark was born and raised in Metairie Louisiana. In his teenage years, he called many places home, such as Texas, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. Mark met his wife to-be in Indiana working at Chuck Callahan Ford. After Mark and Christena were married, they both moved back to New Orleans, where they would buy their first house and Baskin Robbins franchise. Their son, Scott, was born on December 6, 1985. After retirement, Mark enjoyed spending time with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and his grandchildren, Madison and Demi. His grandchildren brought so much happiness to his life. One of his biggest joys was attending a New Orleans Saints game, going to movies, and any New Orleans festivities such as Mardi Gras. He was a fun, sweet, loving, and hardworking man who would do anything for anyone. He will be missed greatly by everyone who knew him.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
