Marion Prieto Overby passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011.
Beloved wife of the late Ray Overby. Devoted mother of Dennis Ray Overby and wife Yvette. Grandmother of Dr. Darryl Ray Overby, PhD and wife Christine and Derek Robert Overby. Great-grandmother of Nathaniel Alexander, Michael Anthony and Patterson Ray Overby. Sister of the late Martha P. Lassalle, Harry and John Prieto.
Age 92 years. A native of Mandeville, LA, a former longtime resident of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville, LA (Rouquette Lodge and Heritage Manor Nursing Home) for the past 14 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Jesuit High School, 4133 Banks St., New Orleans, LA 70119.
