Marion Alice Gay Frosio, age 90 of Covington, LA died on Thursday, February 20, 2014. She was born, Tuesday, November 20, 1923, in Pensacola, FL to George and Thelma Gay.
Survived by her Daughter - Angela Frosio Barfield, Grandsons - Kyle Barfield, and Joseph M. Frosio, IV, Granddaughters - Carey Barfield, Jenna Frosio, Kimberly Anne Frosio, and Kristen Barfield, Great Grandson - Jace Michael Wanner. She was predeceased by her Husband - LCDR Joseph M. Frosio, Jr., USN Ret, Father - George Gay, Mother - Thelma Gay, Son - Joseph M. Frosio, III, Brothers - Greenwood Gay, and Kenneth Gay, and Sister - Barbara Banfell. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was an Officer with the U.S. Figure Skating Association in New Orleans. She was a native of Pensacola, FL, a former longtime resident of Slidell, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 9 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL 32508.
