Marilyn Galloway Crow, age 75, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024. She was born on March 29, 1949, in Hammond, Louisiana, to John and Tessie Galloway. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Carl H. Read Obituary
I was blessed to get to teach Sunday School with her for a few years. I remember painting the room together and making new curtains. Teaching with her influenced my decision to go back to college and get an education degree. She will be missed by many.
My most vivid memory of Marilyn is when we coached t-ball together . We won the championship that year. Rest in peace my friend . Love and prayers to the family
What a precious, precious lady. I cherish the time we spent teaching Sunday school together. (She was supposedly my assistant, but who are we kidding.) Marilyn was never without a smile and a clever story. What a wit! My husband mistakenly called her Mrs. Fox, when they first met, so she was Mrs. Fox to him ever after and she always went along with the joke. I'll think of her each summer when I make pepper jelly with her recipe. She sure will be missed.
