I am so saddened by the death of Tita Meta. Our families have been close for my entire life and Ron was my very first friend. I can remember all the times she would laugh at Bill's jokes and all the times she gave me comfort when I "escaped" to their house. I spent so much of my youth at the Hernandez house and Tita Meta was like a 2nd mother to me. I am tearing up as I write this because the world has lost a great human and I will miss her. Ron and Lisa, I am sending ALL my love your way and praying that you and your families are comforted knowing that she is reunited with Tito Romy in Heaven. I LOVE YOU GUYS! -Rog
Our heartiest and deepest sympathy to Ron, Lisa and all the Hernandez/Taggueg families for the tragic loss of our beloved META. We lost our longest (60+) and dearest❤️friend who we cherished and loved throughout our graduate, postgraduate years and beyond. Our families had the most wonderful time working together at WSTCH in Bogalusa, LA in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s with our young children growing up together in those years.
We will sadly miss Meta and Romy so very much! Our happy and delightful memories with them and their families will stay with us forever.

Dr. Meta was my doctor when I was a kid and I'm 49 years old. I will be forever grateful to her and to have had her as my pediatrician. She saved me from being in so much pain. Emotionally and physically. Thank you Dr. Meta. May you rest easy. Prayers going up for all of her family members and friends.
