Marie Delores Broussard Reitmeyer's Obituary
Marie Delores Broussard Reitmeyer, surrounded by her loving family, entered into eternal life on Friday July 15, 2022 at the age of 74. She was born in New Orleans, LA to James R. Broussard and Marie Smith Broussard.
Marie, affectionately known as Sue, is survived by her two sons, Scott J. Reitmeyer and Michael J. Reitmeyer; three grandchildren: Christopher Reitmeyer, Alex Holmes (Derek) and Zachary Reitmeyer. She is also survived by her siblings, James F. Broussard (Linda), Joy B. Morales (the late Albert J.), Michael R. Broussard (Judy) and Mary Jo Broussard (the late Charles L. Campbell), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins family and special friend Tim.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph M. Reitmeyer.
Sue was adventurous and loved to travel and shop. She enjoyed bingo and was a huge fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. She will be terribly missed by those who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pontchartrain Healthcare Center for their ongoing care, kindness and support. Additionally, a debt of gratitude is owed to the exceptional ICU Nursing Staff at Lakeview Hospital in Covington, La.
