"Miss" Preble was my wonderful second grade teacher at Meraux back in the mid-sixties. I recall that she always wore her hair braided. She was sweet, kind and caring, and I've always thought of her as one of my favorite teachers. My sympathies to her family and friends.
Warren, I am sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I'll always remember how kind she was to me as my 1st grade teacher at Meraux Elementry. I am sure she helped many a youngster adjust to the start of their education. My condolences to you and your family.
My condolences to the Preble family. Mrs. Preble was one of my teachers at Meraux Elementary and worked with my late stepfather, Charlie Venturella. She will be remembered fondly.

My husband and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of your beloved Marie. At a similar time in lives we found much comfort in reading the scriptures, especially John 11:14-44, here is the experience of Jesus resurrecting Lazarus, here on earth, before the very eyes of those he loved. We can only imagine the tears of joy when we too, are reunited with our dear loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) Marie will surely be missed by many of those who's lives she shared. Remember the experiences you shared together and learn from them, hold them close to your hearts and cherish them. May you find comfort from the scriptures and those who surround you at this very difficult time. Our sincere condolences to all of you.
