Marie Colvin Owens on Monday, October 29, 2007. She was born January 1, 1928 in Monroe, LA to the late Jewel E. and Gladys Lloyd Colvin.
She was the beloved wife of the late Oswald J. Owens; mother of Linda O. Chauvin (Danny), John C. Owens (Lanette) and David L. Owens (Linda); grandmother of Jennifer V. Galloway, Claire V. Sanders (Stanley), Ozzie, Laura and Ayla Owens; great-grandmother of Scott and Shelby Galloway, Colby and Jaden Sanders and Dominick Owens; sister of J. Emmett and Donald L. Colvin, Norma C. Hendrix and Ola Bounds.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM from New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 4375 Highway 22, Mandeville, LA 70471.
Visiting hours at the church will begin at 10:30 AM.
Food and fellowship will follow services at the Church.
Interment services will take place later in West Monroe, LA.
