I have a Loving Memory of the Lamys from my childhood. I grew up on 23rd Avenue next door to the Drinkards. Mrs Lamy and the girls were so close to the Drinkrards and seemed to be over there a lot. I thought Mrs Lamy was Ms Claire's sister, and they all seemed to favor the Coopers in looks. It wasn't until Ms Claire's death a very few years ago that I was informed that they were not related. I was shocked actually.
Kitty and Tami, your mother's death is a terrible loss.

She invited me into her home on many a summer growing up in Covington, and practically treated me like one of her own children.
