Maria Del Carmen Cordovis passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of Jose’ Miguel Cordovis. Loving mother of Nancy Cordovis, Carmen Yanez and Carlos Cordovis. Daughter of the late Dolores Otero Suarez and Ceferino Suarez. Sister of Eddy Suarez and Delia Suarez. Grandmother of Jose’ Yanez. Great-grandmother of Joshua Yanez and Jeremy Yanez.
Mrs. Cordovis was native of Havana, Cuba and a resident of New Orleans since 1978.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Friday will begin at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
