Margie Jenkins Candies, life long native of Covington, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Beloved wife of L.T. Candies. Loving mother of Wade Candies, Sr. and the late Donna Candies. Step-mother of the late Anthony Candies. Mother-in-law of Laurie Duet Candies. Grandmother of Wade, Jr., Laure’, Jon, and Elise Candies. Daughter of the late Early and Zula Sharp Jenkins. Sister of Benny and Wayne Jenkins, and the late B.J. and Myrtle Jenkins. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday April 17, 2006 at 11:00 am from Shepherd’s Care Ministries, 20115 Hwy 1081 Covington, LA. Visitation on Sunday April 16, 2006 at 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home 2260 West 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433 and on Monday April 17, 2006 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Shepherd’s Care Ministries. Interment in Shepherd’s Fold Cemetery.
