Margaret Pittman Styron's Obituary
Margaret Pittman Styron passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014, in Covington, LA. She was born on March 31, 1921, to Isham Elbert and Eva Woodard Pittman, in Wilson, NC. The beloved wife of the late Jack Thomas Styron, she is survived by two daughters: Eva S. McDaniel (Donald) and Linda S. Akers (Robert); two sisters: Martha P. Bradley and Frances P. Edgerton; five grandchildren: Sharon M. Griffith, Michelle M. Davis, Allison A. LeBlanc, Gregory T. Akers and Kimberly L. Akers; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Chester Arthur Pittman and Isham Elbert Pittman, Jr.; and one sister: Ann P. Wade. Funeral services begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 22, at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Dr. Mandeville, LA 70471. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment is at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA, immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Dr., Mandeville, LA 70471, or to a charity of your choice.
