Margaret Barbazon Smith passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday June 10, 2021 at the age of 81. Beloved mother to Leann S. Ladner, Walter “Roy” Smith, Jr. (Veronica), Edward J. Smith (Michelle), Gregory W. Smith (Jeannie). Loving sister to Audrey B. Sambola, Lillian B. Jacobs, Elda B. Pellegrin, Lester “L.J.” Barbazon, John Barbazon, Louis Barbazon, Joseph Barbazon and Dennis Barbazon.
Loving grandmother to Zachary Smith, Jordan Smith Kenning, Dalton Smith, Kelly Smith Davis, Jason Smith, Dustin Keating, Matthew “Wade” Ladner, Darien Ladner, Vicky Ladner Watts, Gregory Cole Smith and ten great grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Lester John Barbazon and Elizabeth Barbazon, her loving husband of forty-five years Walter L. Smith, Sr.

Tuesday June 15, 2021, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a graveside service at Revere Cemetery, 79353 Hwy 1083 Bush, LA 70431.
