Debbie Sebastian
Sue, Ray, Mary Beth, Karen, and Robert:
Although it has been 40+ years since I have seen you, I have such fond memories of you all and your wonderful parents. They were so loving, kind, and welcoming to a teenager from Gentilly and always treated me like one of the family.
One example and special memory for me was on November 20, 1971 when I was invited to attend the LSU-Notre Dame game in Tiger Stadium. This was the first (and only) time that I have been there. This was particularly generous as I was (and am) a die hard LSU fan in the midst of Notre Dame alums and fans, including your grandfather. After the LSU victory, your dad teased that he would strap me to the top of the car for the ride home. Fortunately, he was joking!
Your parents devotion and love for family was so strong and will continue to live on through your children and grandchildren. You were truly blessed, and I know that you miss them.
I am so sorry I was unable to attend the service. (I currently live in Folsom but will be moving to Madisonville soon).
Fondly,
Debbie (Riemer) Sebastian
