Margaret "Madge" Kennedy Ernst's Obituary
Margaret “Madge” Kennedy Ernst, 84 of Covington, LA passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017. She was born on October 20, 1933 in Tuscaloosa, AL to Harry Parnell Kennedy and Mary Louise McKenzie Kennedy.
Margaret is survived by her children Steven Kennedy Ernst, James Raymond Ernst and his wife Darlee, Mary “Missy” Ernst Rentfro and her husband Donald, John Charles Ernst, and Edward “Ted” Oliver Ernst and her five grandchildren Matthew Christopher Ernst, Allison Elizabeth Ernst, Paige Elizabeth Rentfro, Garrett Raymond Rentfro, and James Alexander Ernst. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Fraser Kennedy Connor and Patricia Louise Kennedy Clarke and a host of nieces and nephews.
Margaret is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Raymond Ernst, Jr., her parents, her brother Thomas William Kennedy, and her sister Martha Jane Kennedy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 501 Holy Trinity Dr, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, 5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses be said in her memory.
