Margaret Guillory Bordelon's Obituary
Margaret Guillory Bordelon passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, David J. Bordelon, Sr., her children, Laurie Charbonnet (Chris), David J. Bordelon, Jr. (Dayna) and Steven Bordelon (Lizabeth), her grandchildren, Laine Dyson (David), Lexie Tuminski (Jesse), Paige Bowman (Ryan), Sydney Charbonnet, and Aidan Charbonnet, and her great grandchildren, Ellis Dyson, Parker Dyson, Collins Tuminski, Beck Tuminski, and Evelyn Bowman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Guillory and Mae Bonnet Guillory, her sisters, Lois Roach and Vivian Riser, and her brother, Jerry Guillory.
Margaret was born in New Orleans and was a longtime resident of Covington, LA. Affectionately known as ‘Mawmaw’, she was an exceptional baker, Hallmark movie enthusiast, penny slot extraordinaire, and master fisher woman. She was never without a smile and devoted her life to being the best wife, mother, and grandmother you could ever ask for.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Road, Covington, LA on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, 2280 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA 70433.
