Marcus H. Badon's Obituary
Marcus H. Badon passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012. He was born October 12, 1921 to the late Joseph B. and Marie Angeletti Badon.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Muriel Badon Williams (Olice) and Yvonne Badon Aubry (Alvin) and five brothers: Upton (Audrey), Numa (Janice), Malcolm (Catherine), Leonard and Lester (Nettie) Badon.
A life resident of Covington, Mr. Badon was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church. He attended Dillard University before entering into service to his country during WW II. He served with the Army for three years in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatres until his honorable discharge in 1946. He worked for many years and retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He loved gardening, fishing and the Saturday’s he volunteered at the Mandeville Trailhead.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 19, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Monday at 10:00 AM.
Interment at the Flot Cemetery will immediately follow mass.
