Maedell Thompson Holliday passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of the late Luther Pervin Holliday. Loving mother of the late Della Mae Hunt and Barbara Hunt. Daughter of the late Audie Cole Thompson and Ed Thompson. Sister of Barbara Romine and the late Sue Harmon. She was known as Nanny to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, grandchildren, Dell Crowe, Pervin Hunt and Preston Hunt; great-grandchildren, Brooke Stein, Austin Crowe, Jessalynn Hunt and Landon Hunt; great great-grandchildren Cheyenne Stein and Zoey Stein. Mother-in-law of the late Wayne Hunt.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
