Beloved wife of the late Edward Norman LeBlanc. Mother of Paul LeBlanc (Elizabeth), Edward LeBlanc, Jr. (Mary), Diane LeBlanc Andries (John) and the late Glenn LeBlanc. Grandmother of Scott LeBlanc, Blake LeBlanc, Anna Day Stafford, Leah LeBlanc, Eric Andries, Madelyn Andries and Matthew Andries. Great-grandmother of Emma Grace LeBlanc and Cain LeBlanc. Sister of Emma Jane Forrester.
Aged 78 years. A native and former resident of New Orleans for 64 years, of Mandeville for 10 years and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA for the past 3 years. She retired from Southern Coating and Waterproofing, Inc and a volunteer at the Southeast Ministries Food Pantry in Baton Rouge. Madelyn had an amazing zest for life and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an accomplished and talented seamstress. She had a positive attitude and was always there to help anyone in need. Madelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 12:00 noon from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Friday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
