Madeline McIntyre Rodriguez's Obituary
Madeline Louise McIntyre Rodriguez passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008 with her daughters at her side in Blacksburg, VA. Aged 69 years, she was a native of Madisonville and was a resident of Folsom for many years before moving to Virginia. After 20 years of service, Madeline retired from Tulane Medical Center.
The beloved mother of Harold Hunt, Mary Ferguson and Sophie Rutherford, she is survived by eight grandchildren: Hilda Hinson, Harold and Carrie Lynn Hunt, Shelby and Emily Ferguson, Elliotte, Jeremiah, Elijah Rutherford and four great-grandchildren: Allison and Scott Hinson, Tapanga Hunt and Emily Graffanini. She is also survived by one brother, James Lavigne and seven sisters: Catherine Hulin, Janet Taylor, Helen Marange, Teresa and June Lavigne, Trudy Heck and Hazel Keating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sophie Louise Raiford and Lula Admile McIntyre.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
A wake is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 6-9:00 PM with visiting hours beginning Monday at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at the Theodore Dendinger Memorial Cemetery in Madisonville.
