Lynne G. Palazzo's Obituary
Lynne G. Palazzo passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the age of 55. She suffered from a long battle with cancer and is now in the loving arms of Jesus.
Beloved wife of Anthony (Nino) Palazzo, MD. Loving mother of Jude, Mark, Paul, Carly and Leo Palazzo. Daughter of the late Bernadine (Beano) and John Golden. Sister of Michelle Reyes, John Patrick (Pat) Golden and the late Kelly Golden.
She was a founding member and president of WARN which was the first environmental action group in Washington Parish. She was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Covington, was a devout Catholic and had a special devotion to beloved Fr. Seelos. She was a loving and charitable person who always found time to help people in need. In addition to her duties as a loving and caring mother of five children, she was the office manager of The Pediatric Clinic in Bogalusa. A gifted athlete who aspired to always do her best in sports and any tasks that she faced in life. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Abbey, on River Road in Covington with visitation on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 P M until 9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA and at the Abbey on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:00 PM until Mass time.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
