Lucy Thomas Biggs' Obituary
Lucy Ann Thomas Biggs passed away on Monday, February 23, 2009. She was born October 28, 1936 to the late C.H. and Euron Busby Thomas and has been a resident of Covington for over 20 years.
The beloved wife of William “Tom” Biggs for over 50 years, she is survived by two daughters, Susan B. Talbot, her husband Curtis, and Melissa B. Lucus, her husband Blair; one brother, Milton Thomas, his wife Becky; one sister, Violet Richardson and five grandchildren: Brittney and Ashley Talbot, Lacey and Justin Lucus, Leigh Richards, her husband Bradley, and one great-grandson, Elijah Richards. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Bobby Nell Ash and her husband Charles and her brother-in-law, SB Richardson.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
