Lucy Hawkins Bagley's Obituary
Lucy Hawkins Bagley, age 82, departed this life at 7:45 AM March 19, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Ward Hawkins and Lorena Hawkins and devoted wife of James Knox Bagley for 63 years. Born, Wednesday, August 23, 1933 in Ponchatoula, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 23 years. She was raised in New Orleans and attended Eleanor McMain High School, Class of 1951.
She was the mother of James Keith Bagley (Nana), Lauren Wood (Jim), Gretchen Concepcion (Al), Jon Christian Bagley, and the late Patrick Michael Bagley. Grandmother of Vanessa Stedman (Jason), Jerrod Bagley, Carter and Hannah Wood, and Lucy and Anthony Concepcion. Great-grandmother of Lena Stedman, and Gretchen Concepcion. Sister of Jo Ann H. Rizan, Mollie H. Freeman, and the late Ward S. Hawkins.
A celebration of her life will be held at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 2480 Hwy 190 East, Mandeville, LA on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be private in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA.
