Lucille Grace Kimble Easley's Obituary
Lucille Grace Kimble Easley passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the age of 85. She was born on July 2, 1937 in Lettsworth, LA to Ernest Kimble and Annie Nichols Kimble.
Lucille is survived by her son, Timothy Easley, and his wife, Konnie; son, Gregory “Mark” Easley, and his wife Penny; daughter, Wanda George, and her husband, John; daughter, Sheila Freeman, and her husband, Michael; and daughters-in-law, Bertha Easley, husband Kevin (d), and Althea Easley, husband Billy (d). She has 10 grandchildren: Miranda, Jeremiah, Robert, Angel, Clifton, Misty, Ashley, Billy Jr., Amber, Jada, and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Aline Olivier, husband Jimmy.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Milton “Bill” Easley; sons, Kevin Easley and Billy Easley; grandson, Gregory Easley Jr.; parents, Ernest, and Annie Kimble; siblings, Sadie Gremillion, Sidney Kimble, Tony “Coonie” Kimble, Ernest “Pee Wee” Kimble Jr., Murphy Kimble, Will “Dang” Kimble, Mandy Ducote, and Charlie “Coochie” Kimble.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She loved to write recipes, cook, read her bible, watch cooking shows, Golden Girls, and Keeping Up Appearances. She loved dogs and small animals. When she was younger, she raised chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, and geese.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service in Toomer Cemetery, Tag-A-Long and Davis Road, Lacombe, LA.
